Yup! I will be "Spilling My Marbles" soon in my upcoming podcast series!
My team and I are working on the "Spilling My Marbles" website and getting familiar with the whole podcast-verse (is that a word?) technology. It's a new adventure and a fun way to connect with everyone. I'm really looking forward to this and I hope everyone will enjoy it. You're probably wondering what my "Spilling My Marbles" podcast will be like. Well, this is where you can find out... "Spilling My Marbles" will have a simple theme from show to show. It's about kindness. It's about how every human is the same, while we are all so different. It's about bringing us together when we seem so far apart. It's a lifetime of lessons I have learned and the message I carry on to everyone I meet. "Spilling My Marbles" episode will include discussions on topics like: Home Improvement - Funny stories about the inevitable mistakes of DIY; Planning for a renovation; What not to forget, before you forget; or What to expect before you begin a renovation. Bullying and Suicide Awareness and Prevention History - My favorite subject when I was in school (back in the 70's and early 80's). I'll cover different periods of time; places around the world, the United States, and close to home; and how historical events really do repeat themselves - with the help of those who haven't learned it correctly. Music - A subject I never really managed to grasp when it came to instruments. I'll discuss how I developed an interest in classical to hard rock and even some metal. I'll also do a lot of research and bring you fun stories about musical artists - I might even interview some. Politics and Religion - Yes, those "taboo" topics. I'll break down stories and explain my point of view and you may not agree with me. That's okay! I'll define my "rules of engagement", regarding these hot-button topics, and how listening to opposing viewpoints is healthy for all of us. There are many other topics I have in mind. I'll keep episodes of "Spilling My Marbles" lighthearted and fun; somewhat educational at times, but without quizzes; and intended to leave my listeners with an understanding about kindness and consideration for one and all. After all, humans aren't much different than marbles. We're different, but still all the same. Marbles come in different colors, but they are all made out of glass.
